“From the moment I plugged in my Pure Mini and dialed in the tone with the Pure Preamp by K&K, my guitar felt alive in a new way—every subtle resonance of wood and string, captured with stunning clarity. Whether I’m layering fingerstyle melodies or digging into rhythmic grooves, the sound remains warm, full, and deeply honest. No digital filters, no gimmicks—just a pure, natural tone that speaks straight from the heart. It’s more than a pickup system—it’s a true reflection of my playing.”

Somya Gautam is a 28-year-old fingerstyle guitarist based in New Delhi, India, known for his intricate acoustic arrangements that beautifully blend melody, rhythm, and emotion. Inspired by fingerstyle legends like Sungha Jung, Andy McKee, and Tommy Emmanuel, Somya has carved a distinctive niche for himself with a playing style that combines wrist thumping, harmonics, and percussive tapping—all while staying true to the soul of the song.

He began playing guitar at the age of 16, and over the years, what started as a passion has transformed into a powerful artistic voice. His covers of Bollywood and Hollywood tracks bring a cinematic quality to the acoustic guitar, making his performances both technically impressive and deeply moving.

Somya was recognized early in his journey by the renowned G7th Capo Company, where he was featured among the top five artists of the month. This global acknowledgment marked a key milestone in his career and fueled his commitment to pushing the creative boundaries of acoustic guitar playing.

With a steadily growing online presence and a dedication to pure, heartfelt expression, Somya continues to inspire a new generation of acoustic musicians across India and beyond.
