Interactive Music for Kids

From songs "Sticky Icky Bubble Gum" to "Funky ABC's," Andy Morse is a children's musician who delights young audiences with a lively blend of sing-a-longs, dancing, play-acting and storytelling.

A percussive rhythmic guitarist, mandolin player and songwriter, Andy has a unique rapport with children (who call him "the music man"). He is known for the care he takes to create an environment in which children feel comfortable and encouraged to participate. With his down-to-earth personality and skillful pacing, Andy involves his audiences as he performs classic and original children's music.

Concert promoters, teachers and parents have high praise for Andy's performances, calling them "fresh, fun and friendly."

Andy has been performing in the Capital Region of NY since 1990. He founded his own music entertainment business in 1993 and produced his first CD and tape, "Fun and Silly Songs for Kids," in 1999. His long awaited second release, "Andy's Funky ABC's," was released in March 2003.

Andy has taught special needs children and mentally retarded adults, and for five years worked at Kidskeller day care center at Albany Medical Center, where he launched his career. Currently he performs in various venues in the NE and leads workshops at teachers conferences. He is also an Arts in Education presenter offering various residencies and assemblies. Andy keeps updated in the world of children's music by being an active member of the Children's Music Network. (www.cmnonline.org)

Andy uses the K&K UltraPure Western : "I'm feeling warm and fuzzy inside after having this pick up installed. My Martin's true natural sound tickles me from head to toe. The unobtrusive installation maintains the beauty of my Martin and the ease of use of the volume slider and adjustable tone controls, even though I barely needed to tweak them. It's awesome."
