K&K's Artist of the Month: Anthony Burton

Anthony has played music and the bass for years, ranging from punk to bluegrass. His most recent band is Palliard.
Palliard is Anthony, Chris Hamsher, Justin Brown, and Jeff Panall.
From their website:
"Chris wears a stocking cap. He also sings and plays the guitar and the piano. Justin is tall and sings and plays the guitar, the lapsteel, the piano, and sometimes the musical saw. Anthony has the squarest jaw that you ever did see. He sings, plays the bass, the piano, and keyboards. And the organ. With his feet. Jeff smokes and plays the drums, keyboards and the xylophone.
No one plays the harmonica. No one.
At first Palliard played music in an attic full of half-broken instruments. No kidding; it was Justin's attic. It was fun, so they decided to play shows and have fun in public. Then Jeff took them to another attic full of more instruments and musical gear to record some songs. This attic also had a nice view of downtown, so they set up camp there and played more shows and then recorded more songs. All this happened over the course of about 9 months."
Anthony uses the K&K Double Big Twin: "I was instantly satisfied after installing the double big twin on my Engelhardt bass. The pizz sounds great, and the problems I had with 'woof' and feedback from other pickups was gone. I'm a convert!"
